Transforming Communities Research Lab (TCRL)

The Transforming Communities Research Lab has been a
viable part of downtown Winston-Salem since March of 2007. TCRL
functions as an integral part of the Center for Community Safety
of Winston-Salem State University. TCRL is a fully functional
geographic information system laboratory which allows students,
faculty, neighborhood residents, service agencies, business
leaders, educators - anyone who would map out data
geographically - to organize multiple layers of data in one
location for research and analysis of issues.
