Do You Know?

The brain is a parallel processor. It processes parts (specific stimulus) and wholes (meanings, ideas, patterns, actions) simultaneously.
The brain’s processing functions are designed to make meaning of the sensory experiences.
Emotional and social interactions are so fundamental to the brain’s function, that positive experiences can enable and augment learning. Conversely, painful or traumatic experiences can deter or delay learning. No cognitive paths to the brain bypass the emotional and social circuits.
