Description:
The basic nature of the information system and its role as a key management
resource within the organization are addressed in-depth. Analysis provides the
methodology for identifying system components (their attributes and
characteristics) and for evaluating their efficiency as well as effectiveness.
Students are provided general guidelines for the conduct of such analysis and
are introduced to various systems analysis techniques (modeling, simulation,
partition and decomposition, input/out analysis).
