PrerequisiteMIS 1380 or CSC 1306 and C’s or better in ENG 1301, ENG 1302, MAT 1312

Description:   Students will be introduced to the theory and practice of using the Internet for commercial activities that reach beyond national borders. Software, security, payment systems, and the business models used by international electronic businesses are covered. Legal, regulatory, ethical, and cultural issues related to these businesses are also addressed.

Required Text: Turban, King, Vieland and Lee, “Electronic Commerce: A Managerial Perspective, Prentice Hall,   2008.
