Introduction

Professor and Program Coordinator of
Rehabilitation Counseling. She completed her Ph.D. in rehabilitation counseling at University of Iowa. Her research interests
include rehabilitation education, distance learning, and on multicultural disability research. She is principle investigator and director of three RSA training grants (rural vocational rehabilitation, deaf and hard of haring vr and school to work transition in vocational rehabilitation. She is the past president of ARCA (American Rehabilitation Counseling Association) and member of CORE Commission on Accreditation and Standards. Her primary practice
background includes practicing in mental health, medicaid and social security for over 15
years. She has been rehabilitation educator for over 15 years previously at University of Maryland College Park and University of South Carolina.
