HAKI MADHUBUTI, the poet, essayist,
literary critic, publisher, and activist, formerly known as Don L. Lee,
appeared at WSSU on Thursday, September 4,
2003, at 2:00 p.m.-3:20 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.-6:50 p.m. The entire university community
was invited,
and English and Spanish majors and minors were particularly urged to attend.
